These tourist spots, namely Shanbei, Shanding, and Lihu, present a heavenly view with their thick towering tree canopies pearled along rushing water streams. The Shanbei spot however has a slight edge over the other two, for it has the Baiyun Songtao, one of the eight wonders of Guangzhou, as its striking distinction. The Blessed Sculptures of the Five Rams:

Have you heard of the legend of the five blessed immortals? Well, if you haven’t, let us tell the story that holds immense spiritual and religious weight among the locals of Guangzhou. The city holds the legacy that dates centuries back; it is believed that five immortals dressed in colored robes ridded on rams and set foot in Guangzhou carrying bags of rice. It is said that these were distributed to locals as a sign from the spiritual world that there shall never be a famine in the land of Guangzhou. Today this legend is seen preserved in the form of a statue that scores millions of visitors who come to pay a visit to the city. Situated in the Yuexui Park, the statue of the Five Rams stands as one of the biggest attractions of Guangzhou.

The Breathtaking Seven Star Cave:

Once a mysterious underground river channel, the Seven Star Cave now showcases itself as one of the most prominent attractions of China. Anyone who takes a trip to the famous Seven Star Park but misses out on this spectacular formation of nature might find it hard to get over the regret of doing so. Spreading over 1.1 kilometers with a depth of more than 50 meters, this cave has been a hearty attraction since dynasties as old as 1300 years and remains so even today for its unusual shape and curvature.
