Arik Air’s budget airfare deal, which is currently covering the highest number of Nigerian destinations from London, is about to enter its high season this December. The high season is expected to range between the 12th and 24th of this month and includes multiple destinations not being covered by other airlines which are operating on the route.
Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Warri, Owerri and Calabar are all the important Nigerian destinations being served by Arik Air from London’s Heathrow Airport. New additions among these destinations under the said airfare deal are Benin City, Kaduna and Jos. Enugu and Kano are also being regularly served by Arik Air. As Kano, Kaduna and Jos are located much towards southern Nigeria, they are established in a different route zone than the rest of the destinations being covered under the airfare deal.
For the upcoming high season, cheap flight tickets being charged by Arik Air for these destinations start from £560 to £680 within economy class booking category. Accompanied children falling between the ages of 2 to 11 years will be paying 70% of the standard adult fare. Travellers who are either paying a visit home or are making a tour of Nigeria for Christmas have a great offer in terms of increased baggage limits when flying with Arik Air.
The airline is the only available option among all air carriers flying to Nigeria from the UK which allows 2 pieces of baggage, allowing its passengers a margin of an additional 18 to 22 kg of weight to be carried along for their flight. Furthermore, it is also the exclusive carrier to fly with when aiming to reach remote destinations like Owerri and Calabar.
Being an International Airline with the largest network in Nigeria, it plays the role of a national carrier, which is why it charges a relatively cheaper direct airfare for serving the country. Passengers will find Arik Air suitable in terms of lesser hassle when making a stopover at Lagos before continuing onwards with their connecting flight to other Nigerian destinations.
Arik Air does not implement advance purchase policy for the bargain deal, which is why booking experts and agents give the airline preference for all last minute bookings for their respective clients.
