Afriqiyah has finally breathed life into its flight operations. As of writing this piece, Afriqiyah has managed to start operations however, with the help of Hahn Air for now. The airline system does not allow booking directly, but its seats are available for sale on Hahn Air’s stock in the booking system. They will be available for ticketing in the booking system back to full fledge operations later this year. For the time being they shall operate with assistance from Hahn Air.
The rules and change/cancellation policies may be very restrictive and tough in the beginning of this come-back from suspension due to war in Libya, but it is a relief for the vast clientele who confides in Afriqiyah Airways Operations due to its wide network and healthy operational history.
Initially, Afriqiyah is offering Economy Class Passengers 1-Checked Bag of 25KG only, and Club Class Passenger: – 25Kg x 2 ( 2 – Checked Baggage).
Infants under two years of age: – without a seat travelling in the company of an adult passenger in any class entitled carry 10kg.
Hand Baggage Allowance will remain 7Kg. If passengers need to carry extra luggage, they can pay at the airport for the excess bag. Extra Baggage Charges are 1st Bag £40.00 for 25Kg. Second and subsequent bags will be restricted to 10KG weight each and charged at £75.00 per bag.
If your bag exceeds 25KG limit, they shall charge Excess Baggage at the rate of £7.00 per Kg.
