Air France – KLM is carrying out a nationwide marketing campaign across the UK branded as ‘Pack & GO’. The £1 million marketing drive will spread over virtual and physical means of promotion in the UK. The three-week campaign will focus on six major cities in particular which are considered as customer hubs for the commercial air travel industry.
About 700 double-decker buses from the London Public Transport Network are sporting the campaign’s banners, while an additional 140 outdoor hotspots are displaying advertisements along with the tagline ‘Super Deals to the World’.
Online advertisements, mobile and tablet creative executions have been carried out, while e-mail leaflets have been sent to the entire existing customer base of the airline. Bristol, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, London and Scotland have KLM’s advertisements being covered in major print media sources. Birmingham Mail, Bristol Evening Post, Newcastle Journal, The Scotsman and Manchester Evening News are among the newspapers covering the campaign.
Air France-KLM has made the entire effort eyeing destinations on popular routes like Dubai, Rio De Janeiro, New York and Johannesburg. The strategy is in line with the prospects of attracting most of the potential travellers during the autumn and winter season. This period is highlighted specifically for booking long-haul flights for commercial and tourist passengers.
