The United Kingdom’s flag carrier airline, British Airways, has resumed direct flights to Lahore from London Heathrow. This Tuesday marked a welcome change when BA-259 landed at the Allama Iqbal International Airport after a gap of 40 years.
The flight schedule formally agreed upon states that four direct flights will be operated in a week. The said flights will be departing every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The potential for acquiring further slots will also be considered in the near future.
