Emirates Announces Free Global Cover for COVID-19

Emirates have started an industry-leading initiative to cover all the medical expenses as well as quarantine costs in case a traveller is diagnosed with COVID-19 during their journey. It aims to boost the confidence of travellers worldwide in a unique assurance when they are flying away from home.

As we know, the international borders are opening up gradually. Travellers are, albeit traces of Coronavirus, all head over heels to take-off to their next travel destination. Travelling with Emirates comes as a sigh of relief, knowing that your health expenses will be taken care of in case you are diagnosed with COVID-19. Extra preventive measures are also ensured for the safety of passengers onboard with Emirates.

How much will Emirates cover?

Now you can travel with complete peace of mind due to Emirates’ COVID assistance. According to this program, you are entitled to receive a free cover of up to EUR 150,000 (137000 GBP) and quarantine expenses of EUR 100 (91 GBP) per day for 14 days. This offer is free of cost regardless of class of travel or destination.

How can I claim COVID-19 assistance from Emirates?

Once you’ve booked your flight with Emirates, you are already eligible to avail this offer without any registration forms. The free cover is immediately effective for Emirates’ passengers until October 31st. The offer remains valid for 31 days date of departure. In case of any COVID-related health emergency, you must contact a dedicated hotline to avail the assistance.
