The Middle Eastern carrier, Etihad Airways proudly announces its latest flight route to West Africa by launching flights to Lagos. The carrier is keen to operate its flights from 01st July 2012 with respect to regulatory approvals. Lagos is the first West Africa destination of Etihad Airways. The carrier will offer six weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Lagos for its valued passengers.
The aircraft A330-200 will be assigned to this route which provides two class configurations with 22 Pearl business class seats and 240 Coral economy class seats. By launching this new flight route, Lagos becomes the 83rd destination in Etihad Airways global network. This service will create a link for travellers planning to explore Nigeria. Recently the carrier announces its operations to Seychelles, Tripoli, Nairobi and now Lagos which shows the interest of airline to expand its flight network and become a strong competitor in Africa region.
