Thursday April 29, 2010 11:10pm, passengers at Gatwick airport suffered from intense depression and disappointment when the airline announced the termination of flights to Ghana. After a painfully long wait, the airline authorities promised a private Jet will be borrowed to take the passengers at their destination. However, even after the luggage got checked in and boarding passes handed to the passengers, the deal has cancelled the reason given “unaffordability of the cost of jet”. All passengers were handed letters from the airline stating “the flights are terminated till further notice”.
The affected passenger, after a long day and a restless night finally have started making their way home, buying alternate flights and submitting letters to get refunds. The spokespersons of some authorities say, “The flights may resume at any second”, however since there has been no official announcement of the cancellation, grounding the airline or worst, people are awaiting a much clear verdict of the airline.
