The flag carrier of Bahrain gave in to the consistent demands and has decided to launch direct flights between Larnaca and Kuwait starting from the 26th of October this year.
Gulf Air announced that it will provide direct flights between Kuwait and Cyprus. These flights will connect the two destinations twice per week. Starting from the 26th of October 2014 regular flights will be scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday. The flight will depart from Kuwait at 11 am local time. From Larnaca, it will depart from 2.05pm local time.
The airline will provide the Bahrain based passengers as well as those from the UK with the added choice of choosing their itineraries between three weekly flights taking the route from Bahrain to Larnaca. In addition to this, these passengers are also supplied with convenient flights that operate six times and take the route from Bahrain to Kuwait.
The Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Air was pleased to announce the commencement of this new route as he said it catered to the demand and kept customers happy and satisfied. He also laid emphasis on the fact that the airline aims to provide convenient travel routes for its customers. The recently launched Kuwait to Istanbul route was met with positive feedback.
The airline is already providing services between Kuwait and Bahrain and also Larnaca and Bahrain. However, Gulf Air’s current Kuwait flights consist of six daily flights. While it should be noted that it provides services from Bahrain to Larnaca with 3 flights per week that are with no stopovers.
A320 ER will be used for operating flights for this new route. The flights will depart from Kuwait International Airport and Larnaca International Airport. A320 ER aircraft have a two-class configuration consisting of 14 Falcon Gold seats and 96 seats in Economy Class.
