This weekend, Continental Airways will be adding a new Flight route for Flights from London Heathrow to New York. This will be the fifth flight of Continental Airline, connecting England with US’s crowning city.
The flight will start operations from this Sunday, October 31, 2010. The timing schedule for this new route is decided to be kept for early morning departure, to specially suit Business travellers. While the departure for London will be late evening.
Continental is a US-based airline, especially catering for the emerging and ever increased rate of air travel between Europe and US. It is popular airline for flights to New York and other destinations in the US while flying from International destinations while Continental’s regional and domestic routes are also widely traveled by passengers each day.
As announced by the airline in a statement, Continental Airline (CO) Flight Number CO 115 will leave Heathrow at 8.40am, arriving into New York’s Newark airport at 1.05pm same day. The return Flight will take off from Newark, Continental Airline flight number CO 114, leaving at 11.05pm. The return flight will arrive at London Heathrow International Airport at 10.15am approximately. The plane craft on this new route will be a Boeing B757-200 with all Business, First Economy cabins.
The executive vice president and chief revenue officer of United Continental Holdings, Mr Jim Compton, stated:
“The fifth daily Heathrow-New York/Newark service enables Continental to offer its customers on this flagship route a choice of flights at popular times of the day. With this improved schedule and all our Heathrow flights featuring flat-bed seats in our award-winning Business First cabin, Continental has a highly attractive offering on the New York-London route, one of the most competitive routes in the world.”
The airline also operates two daily flights from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, to London Heathrow. Continental Airlines, a subsidiary of United Continental Holdings, Inc., with its largest Hub at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
