In a recent press release by Korea’s flagship carrier, Korean Airline on December 23, 2010, that airline has stated that due to the recent bad weather that brought about the virtual closure of London Heathrow Airport and the cancellation of Korean Air flights on the 18th and 19th of December, the airline has amended its cancellation, re-issue and refund charges.
According to which, the Seoul base carrier has waived its date change and reissue charges / penalty for all passengers who were due to travel on the 18th and 19th of December between London Heathrow and Seoul and vice versa. Whereas, for those passengers who no longer need to travel then any refund charges are also waived but for these travel dates only.
Korean Airline operated two flights to Seoul yesterday from London Heathrow Airport and expects a normal operation of flights today as well.
