Since British Midlands has been sold to a Non-Star Alliance Carrier, there have been many operational changeovers from BMI to BA for domestic flights and short haul flights. Malaysian Airline today communicated agents of the procedure on how the previously operated British Midlands (BMI) flights shall be switched to BA.
For travel from 27th June: Dublin (DUB), Belfast (BHD), Manchester (MAN), Aberdeen (ABZ), and Edinburgh (EDI)
The re-accommodation process from BD to BA of the above routes will be carried out via your GDS. Re-accommodation will take place from 6th June 2012, for travel on or after 27th June 2012 but not later than 4th June 2013. This process is expected to take 3 days.
For existing Issued tickets (of BD flight numbers) Agents will be offered a BA flight number via booking systems. Agents are required to accept the BA flight number and reissue ticket with No Additional Collection.
