In a recent Press release by Virgin Atlantic earlier this week, the airline has issued amendment to its baggage policy for flights to Accra and Kingston. According to which, Baggage allowance rule for passengers traveling to and from Accra (ACC) and Kingston (KIN) has been revised and applicable with immediate effect (November 09th, 2010).
In the Economy cabin, travellers can take 2 piece baggage, each weighing to 23 Kilos maximum for flights to Accra. Whereas, maximum free baggage allowance for flights to Kingston (economy cabin) will be one piece only which should not be weighing more than 23 kilos.
Three piece baggage are allowed in Premium class of Virgin Atlantic for both of the above destinations. However, the weight of each piece must not exceed 23 Kilos.
Virgin Atlantic has permitted 32 kilos per piece and three bags in Upper class.
