The UAE based airline Qatar Airways has launched its special fares to Shiraz yesterday. The carrier known as the world’s first five-star airline, holds a strong presence in Europe, Far East, as well as Africa and Middle East, being its Hub, further strengthens Qatar’s Global network of flights.
In its official notification Qatar Airways, announced its newest destination, Shiraz to its network. Shiraz is one of the popular and well-toured cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also, only recently Iran has opened up to Tourism from the West and it is likely to attract a lot of global attention in respect. Qatar’s new route is just in time, for the up and coming Iran’s transformation as a rising Tourism destination.
Qatar’s new flights to Shiraz will commence on June 04, 2011. The airline will be operating 2 flights a week out of London Heathrow and Manchester. These flights will be operating on Thursdays and Saturdays and inbound flights will operate on Fridays and Sundays.
The fares published for this route are effective for SALE from March 03, 2011 to March 22, 2011. The travel Period, during which customers can book flights to Iran with Qatar Airways starts from June 04, 2011 to November 30, 2011. Please note Blackout periods will apply. Flights from London Heathrow to Shiraz (SYZ) are starting from GBP 170 approx excl. tax and S.C. The airline also operates flights from Manchester Airport and flies via Abu Dhabi. The stopover/change over in Abu Dhabi is only for a couple of hours (please inquire).
