On May 25th 2012, BMI-British Midland International- announced that it will suspend flights between London Heathrow and Addis Ababa. The airline added that this decision results from various economical and commercial restraints.
The airline shall operate its last flight leaving from Heathrow for Addis Ababa on 10 June 2012 and returning from Addis Ababa to Heathrow on the next day 11th June. Customers are advised to contact their agents if they have booked any flights pending ticket issuance. The agents holding un-issued bookings for flights after 10/11 June 2012 can no longer ticket those flights. All tickets issued up to 28th of May are eligible for re-accommodation.
The airline shall make available re-accommodation options first week of June 2012. If passengers do not want to be accommodated on other flights, they can be offered a full refund. You may contact your agent/airline to process the refund.
