Viking cruises launched the longest cruise yet, which is to set the Guinness World Record. Starting from Greenwich, the journey is to span over 33 weeks. The round-trip cruise will end in London, arriving on May 2nd, 2020. Covering 51 countries in 6 continents, visiting 111 ports, and stopping overnight in 23 cities; this luxurious cruise promises a new era in seafaring.

For the 930 passengers on board, the Viking Sun offers maritime bliss with impressive facilities. Furnished with a Nordic-style spa, infinity pool, gourmet restaurants, a cinema, and a world-class library; this ship promises to indulge all your guilty pleasures. According to the Chairman of Viking, Torstein Hagen:
Our ultimate world cruise is the most extensive itinerary available in the industry, nearly double the length of our previous world cruise itineraries.
The cruise is specially designed only for passengers over 18, to set itself apart from other cruises. There are no casino’s or kids aboard; it is aimed to stir reflection in its passengers. It also offers thought-provoking Ted-Talk screenings, guest lecturers from experts around the world, and interactions with eminent personalities.
The basic Stateroom accommodation costs start from about $93,000 to the most expensive at about $195,000. All services include frequent port visits, meal packages, room service, free Wi-Fi and business class airfare. An “Owner’s Suite” sponsors 12 person boarding, a kitchen, dining room, a dry sauna, a wine collection and originally designed living room with exceptional art pieces. Destinations and Stopovers
The extravagant odyssey will include stops in Brazil, Argentina, Tasmania, Vietnam, India, and Egypt. The cruise plans to sail through various Caribbean destinations, most of South America, South Pacific, Scandinavia, the Australian coast, Asia, and Europe before returning home to London.
