Flight Fares with Lufthansa, Swiss and Austria Airlines

Lufthansa, Swiss and Austria Pricing has recently announced amended Flash fares that are going to remain open for SALE between 23 February and 15 March, 2011. This amended version includes the details of Lufthansa’s recently opened flights to Rio de Janeiro Brazil.

This new and amended Lufthansa Airline, Swiss Air and Austrian Airline long haul flash fares ex UK supersedes the previous issued that was released on February 15, 2011. Therefore, here is a quick extract from this new fare list:

• The fares are valid for sale from February 23, 2011 until March 15, 2011.
• The travel period, until which travelers can may reserve their seats or Travel Season for Lufthansa and Austrian Airline fares is from 23 February to 31 July and varies per destination.
• The Travel Period for Swiss Airline flights is from 23 February until 25 June and also, should be checked according to destinations.
• The fares apply on roundtrip Economy Class travel from the UK only.
• The departure flights can be booked from Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Belfast, Leeds, Durham and Inverness and will operate via London Heathrow.
• The departure flights from Edinburg, Aberdeen and Glasgow will operate via Manchester.
• The detailed listing includes new flight fares or amended fares for Far East, Japan, South Korea, Seychelles, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Africa, Middle East and South America.

The most recent destination, Rio de Janeiro (RIO) is open for SALE during Travel Season from October 30 and December 15, 2011 starting from as low as 153 GBP approx excl. taxes. Other Brazilian destinations include flights to Sao Paulo via Zurich for the travel period of February 16 to June 25, 2011, and starting from 281 GBP approx excl. taxes and S.C.

Other noticeable destinations include flights to Johannesburg, South Africa starting from 124 GBP approx excl. tax and S.C. This flight is routed via Frankfurt and season spans from 23 February 2011 to 31 March 2011 and from 01 May to 30 June. Whereas for route via Zurich to Johannesburg, the travel season is from 16 February to 25 June during which the flight fare fluctuates between 139 to 229 GBP approx excl. taxes.

There are quite many African destinations offered this time by these airlines and include Accra, Abuja, Cairo, Dar es Salaam, Douala, Lagos, Nairobi, Port Harcourt and many more.
