The National Museum of Fine Arts is a Fine Arts museum that exhibits Cuban and other international art collections. The museum is proud to have one of the largest collections of paintings and sculpture from Latin America. This museum is located in the vicinity of Havana’s Palace of Fine Arts that is purely devoted to Cuban art whereas the Palace of the Asturian Center is dedicated to universal art.  The museum is the largest of its type in the entire Caribbean region and it accounts for nearly fifty thousand arts masterpieces.

The Museum of the Revolution exhibits Cuba’s history starting from the neo colonial period to the end of the great red revolution. The city’s Presidential Palace is the home of the museum that was designed by legendry by Cuban architect Carlos Maruri and the Belgian Paul Belau. The museum’s structure is a sophisticated amalgamation Spanish, French and German architectural design of the building.

The renowned Museum of Decorative Arts is commonly known as the small French Palace of Havana. The museum is housed in the neo classical mansion of the Countess of Revilla de Camargo that was built in the early twentieth century. The structural design of the museum is inspired form the French Renaissance period. The museum has been exhibiting more than thirty thousand works dating from the reigns of Louis XV, Louis XVI, and Napoleon III, as well as the sixteenth century and onwards Oriental art pieces along with other masterpieces. The museum has ten permanent exhibit halls displaying artefacts from porcelain articles from France, Germany, England, China and also from Japan.

Havana is proud to have nearly fifty museums, including the National Museum of Music, the Museum of Dance and Rum, the Cigar Museum, the Napoleonic, Colonial and Oricha Museums, the Museum of Anthropology; the Ernest Hemingway Museum; the José Martí Monument, the Aircraft Museum.
