Lilongwe is the largest and the capital city of Malawi, which is located in the heart of the country along the Lilongwe River adjacent to the borders of Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi. The city is speckled with thousands of lush green and colorful flowering trees that add to the bewitchment of its extreme fascination and due to its beautiful and charismatic landscapes, a number of tourists take cheap flights to Lilongwe to spend some quality time there.
It was just a small village that was well-known as the centre of British Colonial Administration, whose history date back to the time period of 20th century. The Old Town Mall should be on the top of your list as it serves as the home of art and craft, up market clothing stores and grocery store catering. Besides you should also visit Chipiku, Food Worth, Shoprite, 7-Eleven and Crossroads Complex.
Lilongwe also comprise of many sparkling and entertaining dining facilities amongst which the Italian Dehli, Tabaq, Don Brioni’s Bistro, Bohemia Cafe, Korea Garden Lodge, Al Fresco and Four Seasons are the most famous and frequently-visited ones. So to visit the Wild life Centre you must spare a complete day.
