T-42o: Situated on the Elizabeth Street Pier this is a waterfront bar with great views of the Derwent River and exceptional fusion seafood. The spinnaker-shaped bar with its minimalist interior design is the best place for new age modern cuisines and top-notch drinks. Federation Concert Hall:
This aluminium can shape concert hall attracts the crème de la crème of orchestras. The unique structure makes listening to classical music a renewed culture in its self. Located at 1 Davey Street this concert hall is welded with the Hotel Grand Chancellor. The most common performers is the famous Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
New Sydney Hotel:
If you are into the jazz scene then the New Sydney Hotel is the place for you. Located at 87 Bathhurst Street the hotel allows free admission on most days and mostly focus on jazz and low-key folk music performances. Occasional blues numbers are also a norm and many-a-night you will hear people roaring with laughter, this means that it is comedy night at the New Sydney Hotel.
State Cinema:
If the art scene interests you then forget the art centre and try out the famous State Cinema, located at 375 Elizabeth Street in North Hobart.
