The National Museum of Vietnamese History is one of the most wonderful and monumental building that is situated in the district of Hoan Kiem .a large agglomeration of various objects has been displayed that serve to be the emblem of Vietnam’s history. The building was constructed in 1932 in colonial French architecture so the structure itself is very eye-catchy. Its design was created by the famous architect Ernest Hebrard, who aimed for designing the blend of cultural Vietnamese and French style which is known as Indochina architecture.
To protect the building form the high intensity of sunshine, the architect designed balconies and double walls with an excellent ventilation system. Another fascinating museum of Hanoi is The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which is situated in the district of Cau Giay over the land area of almost 13,200 square meters. The museum was established in 1997 and now it is known to be one of the best-loved tourist’s spot as it houses the finest modern collection of things and represents 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.
