The more refined and modern sights with the tree-lined avenues and vivacious restaurants for scrumptious food all around you, make it a more happening place to visit. Here, I tell you what you need to add to your bucket list to make your trip excitingly unforgettable by taking flights to Zimbabwe.
Safari Tours:
While South African destinations are already hyped for their Safari itineraries, Zimbabwe will prove you that how it’s worth the hype. I’m one of those visitors who experienced the marvels of Zimbabwe for the first time in 2017. Take in the magnificent views in your 130 km long Fisheagle Canoe safari that requires a minimum of 6 days and 5 nights to visit the entire avenues of parks and discover very rare wildlife on the go. Among other adventurous tours, my perfect itinerary plan was 11 days long magnificent Victoria Falls Tours that started from Motoba National Park and ended at the most awe-inspiring views of Victoria Falls and enlivening elephant camping in its vicinity. Yet another unforgettable experience is exploring Hwange that boosts genuine safari atmosphere. Camping in the Somalisa Camps helped me discover the colonial past of historically significant Zimbabwe.

Museums and Cultural Heritage:
As much as I explore the world, my urge to dig deeper into its past increases. It’s striking to see how technology revolutionizes the cities and countries overall. But there are certain monuments other objects that need to be preserved for the upcoming generation. Every individual travel with his/her own passionate drive to explore the various facets of the world and so the history-buffs. In Zimbabwe, the best way to take a look at the historical gems is to visit the most historically significant cities i.e. Harare and Bulawayo. The most notable being the Zimbabwe Great Ruins which is popular for the gold artefacts found therein. The world heritage site is a wonderful cultural and archaeological landmark that is, surely, worth a visit. Other famous monuments include Khami Ruins, Rhodes Grave, Bulawayo History Museum and National History Museum Bulawayo with each museum contributing a fair share in preserving the past of Great Zimbabwe.
