Guangxiao Temple You will also be enthralled to visit the Guangxiao Temple that is a popular and magnificent settlement and act as a sacred pilgrimage site for many Zen Buddhists. It was constructed during the time period of 206BC – 24AD, in Western Han Dynasty and served as a mansion for the prince of the Nanyue Kingdom. Even though the building is destroyed by fire, several times but still maintains the grandeur and elegance. The temple is also very famous for housing the most historical and ancient Iron Pagoda of China that was constructed between 967 and 963.
Some other famous sites are the Guangzhou Martyrs Memorial Garden (comprises of many walkways, gardens and halls and was established to serve as the burial ground for almost 5,000 people, who died during the communist- against the Guomindang Government), Guangzhou Museum of Art (a classic and modernistic settlement that houses a wide agglomeration of displaying objects and covers the land area of about 8,000 square metres), Huaishengsi Guangta( the oldest mosque of China), Lotus Mountain (the house of architectural buildings, temples and pagodas that belong to Ming dynasty).
