The Gorgeous Fish River Canyon, Namibia

When you think of a mesmerizing landscape you always think of the Grand Canyon in USA. Its vastness and majesty attracts thousands of tourists from around the world but if you just think only about the Grand Canyon then that means you have not seen the Namibian Fish River Canyon. The similar feel attached to these two canyons make people call them twins that are just separated by thousands of miles. This is the largest canyon of the continent of Africa spanning on an area of 165 km with an average height of 550 meters and on its widest part it has a width of a whopping 27 km. The grandeur of this marvelous canyon along with the fish river flowing on its belly makes it a must see place for any tourist.

The most famous view points of the canyon are the Hikers View and The Viewpoint. The area along the canyon is full of natural hot springs that are believed to have therapeutic abilities. Some of the resorts offer a mud bath in these springs along with facilities like a swimming pool and indoor games.
