Australia is the land of clear skies and beautiful beaches. Excluding New Zealand and few other nations, Australia is an island nation that is also a continent of its own. It has been regarded as the “Land down under” signifying the southern locality it has relative to the rest of the developed world and the great distance away it is from the United States and Europe. Clearly, there is an effort made by the Australian government to attract more and more American and European travellers.

Lisa Ronson, Tourism Australia‘s chief marketing officer reportedly has conducted seminars trying to convince her audience to travel to Australia. She insisted that the twenty-hour journey is actually a part of the Australian rejuvenation experience. Most passengers take long naps during the flights. The partnerships that Tourism Australia has developed with a number of international airliners enforce that the airlines make the passenger’s journey stress-free. All it takes is a long nap and a few amazing movies, and you are in Australia!
