Angola with its 40 years long civil war was never considered a favoured destination for the better part of the last century, but as the winds of change are blowing throughout the continent Angola too has changed. With the cessation of hostilities by different factions, it now has a stable democratic government and a thriving economy. The tourism industry of Angola is also booming as it has everything to be an eye opener for a visitor, vibrant nightlife of its cities, stunning natural beauty, mesmerizing landscape, gorgeous beaches and friendly locals, a mix that will surely bring the country on the radar of the travellers soon.
Luanda is the capital of the country and also the social and economic hub of Angola. You can get a direct flight to Luanda from most of the major airports worldwide. If you are travelling from Europe then you can take a flight with British Airways, Lufthansa, Brussels Air or Air France, depending upon where you are on the continent. The African airlines like Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways and South African Airways also offer direct flights to Luanda from their respective airports.
