It thunders roughly so loud that the sound alone is enough to make you stand awestruck and if you get closer, you might feel the violent rushing of water.
As for the wildlife, this park has something unique to offer which other parks may not, some of the remaining rhinos that luckily escaped extinction. And if you are lucky, you may also catch some glimpses of the baboon, impala, giraffe, eland and sables.
You may also like to visit Lochinvar National Park, the bird paradise of Zambia. It is called the bird paradise since some 400 plus species of birds live in here. You may find the big games though are only limited to some herds of buffalo, hippos, spotted hyena, leopard, zebras and wildebeests.
The Kafue National Park is the largest of all wilderness parks in Zambia; Kafue nurses the densest population of wildlife in all Zambia. Thousands of red lechwe, an endless hoard of antelopes, waterbuck, sable, puka, roan, oribi, hartebeest, and a vast number of lions, hyenas and leopards to name a few. In fact, the only animal that you will not find in this park is the Zebras.
