Anjuna Beach Goa
The main attraction of the place is, of course, the beaches; their powder-like white sand and the gorgeous settings in their background makes them perfect for a relaxing and romantic vacation. The most famous of them all is the Anjuna beach with the magnificent Chapora fort and a Portuguese era mansion in its background. Most of the tourists flock this beach and it is also the one that has the liveliest nightlife in its numerous bars and clubs and also on the beach itself. But if you are looking for solitude then head to the Palolem beach in the extreme south of the Goa, it has enough deserted places for you to relax on and has the best eateries of Goa along with it.
The Old Goa is a must see place if you are inspired by the colonial era architecture and the Mediterranean style buildings on the shore of the Arabian Sea will surely amaze you. If you want to get a taste of an ordinary Indian town then head to Mapusa a small town about ten miles from the city with its famous Friday market, you can find quite a few souvenirs in its shops that you can take back home as a memory of your trip to India.
