Events DC Nation’s Triathlon for the benefit of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is scheduled to take place on the 8th of September 2013. The event will take place at the capital and heart of the country; Washington DC. The course is designed to twist and coil through many of the city’s landmarks and monuments. The route consists of a 1.5k swim through the Potomac River, a 40k bike ride and a 10k run through Washington DC’s famous monument corridor, on to a fabulous finish.
The event has been organized to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) which funds research for the discovery of better treatments and cures in its war against blood cancer. The LLS is a world leader in its cause and has contributed significantly in the discovery of ground-breaking treatments for blood cancer, in its 60 years of constant battling.
This is no ordinary event; it’s a glorious battle cry, a hope for victory against blood cancer.
