The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is currently examining on number of airlines are still passing on the hidden costs onto customers which is not legal when customers want to book online.
The organization is looking forward for travel companies to change the misleading information such as debit and credit card surcharging practices and enforcement actions of consumer protection laws. According to the reports no airline have been named by the OFT whereas as according to financial times Fly bee, BMI and Lufthansa are under investigation.
The OFT have now launched a formal investigation system in which if they find out airlines are breaking consumer protection law by any means would seek to High court Injunction to force them penalties.
