Whilst Skytrax definitely point out the best, it also appreciates those airlines that have improved over the years. This year ‘China Eastern Airlines’ was recognized as the ‘World’s most improved Airline’ followed by the ‘Transaero Airlines’ and ‘Virgin Australia’. We all would love to see these airlines improve further and perhaps make it into the list of the top ten Best Airlines next year!

If what you’re looking for is a high end luxury and comfort while travelling, then you must know that ‘Air Transat’ won the title of the ‘World’s Best Leisure Airline’ as it is known to have redefined leisure travel and will hopefully continue to do so. The second and the third positions were taken by ‘Thompson Airways’ and ‘Monarch Airlines’. Expect the finest of all luxuries from these breathtaking airlines and they will still be sure to surprise you with a little something extra.

‘Emirates’ has yet again proved itself by winning the award for the ‘Best In-flight Entertainment’. Be it a 2-hour flight or a 24-hour flight, you are guaranteed the utmost entertainment whilst travelling with Emirates. Feel free to go empty handed on the flight and be rest assured that you will still find something or the other to do. Perhaps the very fact that it is impossible for one to get bored whilst travelling with Emirates is what has made it worthy of its successful win this year.

Another important thing while picking out the right flight for you is the cabin staff and Skytrax surely keeps a check on that. This year, after carrying out surveys and welcoming consumer feedback, ‘Malaysia Airlines’ won the ‘World’s Best Cabin Staff’ award and rightly so.
