The England football team set-off on Sunday afternoon for Brazil, to be the part of world cup 2014 adventure. A team of smartly dressed 23 athletes boarded along their manager Roy Hodgson, were decently photographed. After landing the squad will play two friendly matches before the real thrill on June 14 against Italy.
The team is excited about an upcoming venture, thus played a friendly against Peru in presence of Prince William. A Surprise visit by Duke of Cambridge right after the match encouraged the players. In the casual talk, William chatted to star players and assured nation’s and monarch’s full moral support for their team to get a feather in cap in the Big game. A send-off video with warm wishes was also recorded by William for holding up the team’s morale.
The second-in-line to the throne urged the nation to back-up the England team. ‘I am sure they will be ready for the challenge,” exclaimed William, after spending friendly time with players.
Being a president of the Football Association, William shard his excitement for the upcoming drama. “I am really looking forward to seeing what happens in Brazil this summer,” he added.
Encouraging activities of Monarch reflects that this summer blue and red ball will roll over the Brazilian football fields to bring a big bang to the great nation.
