Benin is one of the most popular African cities that house many fascinating sites and one of the most famous one is Pendjari National Park that draw the attention of plenty of people from all around the world. The tantalus monkey, patas monkey, olive baboon, common duiker, oribi,red-flanked duiker, reedbuck, bushbuck, korrigum, warthogs, kob antelope, roan antelope and Western hartebeests are the common species of the park.
Pendjari National Park also tempts plenty of people because of its amazing birdlife. There are more than 300 species that appeal many bird-watchers. Some of the most common ones are Togo Paradise-whydah, Black-rumped Waxbill, Lavender Waxbill, Red-faced Pytilia, Red-winged Pytilia, Bush Petronia, White-crowned Robin-chat, Purple Glossy-starling, Blackcap Babbler, Senegal Eremomela, Pied-winged Swallow, Fanti Saw-wing, Yellow Penduline-tit and plenty of others. Pendjari River is the only significant river of the park that flows through Togo and ends at Lake Volta.
The river has the length of almost 300 kilometres and there are many scenic locations that you can enjoy in the park.
