The beautiful city of Bonn sits on the river Rhine and other than its natural beauty it contains some of the most magnificent architectural marvels after Berlin. Being the capital of West Germany and later the official seal of government till 1999 means that it still contains all the beautiful façade of its traditional parliament buildings and much more. You simply need to take a stroll around the Munsterplatz to appreciate the true beauty of Bonn’s architecture.
So plan a trip and book your next flights to Germany. The Kaiser Karl Hotel is a hidden gem at Vorgebirgstrasse 56, and like its close competitor the Domicil, here you will find more luxury and stylish atmosphere than any other top-rated chain restaurant. Originally constructed in 1905 the Kaiser Karl was intended to be a private townhouse and later in 1983 was it finally converted into a stylized four storey hotel.
This quaint little hotel has the most elegant décor which includes attractive English antiques, lacquered Japanese screens, large Venetian mirrors, intricate oriental carpets and Edwardian potted plants. The rooms – even though small in size are beautifully furnished and each comes with a sleek and sophisticated bathroom fitting with modern amenities like hair dryers etc.
The Kaiser Karl has its own bistro-styled restaurant and a separate bar which is known to be surprisingly elegant. The breakfast menu is rich and full of the choicest pastries, meats, cheeses fresh fruit and freshly baked breads. They cater to different needs like vegan and provide diet sweeteners as well. The coffee is always freshly brewed and the aroma will entice you even if you are not a fan. Other than room service the Kaiser Karl offers baby a babysitting service as well. Each of the 42 units come equipped with satellite television, a minibar and a free Wi-Fi service. At the front desk you can get much of the information regarding touring the city and the hotel offers bikes for rent as well.
The hotel provides a good deal of privacy and yet it is still located only a walking distance away from the main town. Even though the atmosphere is posh at the Kaiser Karl but the staff is still very friendly and will always help to guide you to find whatever you are looking for. Altstadt the most famous spot in Bonn for its rich nightlife is only a three-minute walk away from the hotel – the staff recommended us to start our night at The Nyx which is one of the best bars in Altstadt.
If you walk only 100 meters down the road from the hotel you will come across some amazing Asian restaurants as well which also comes highly recommended by the staff. Another tip which we got from the staff is that the centre is only beautiful to visit during the day and considered a dud place to visit at night. Hence you can see how useful they are.
With all this in mind, we are sure you feel completely at ease now about planning your trip to Bonn. So no need to delay and come on down and book your stay at the Kaiser Karl now.
