The best way to get to Coffs Coast is by driving on the coastal road from either Brisbane or Sydney depending upon where you land in Australia. The road trip provides some stunning views of the landscape along the coast. You can find direct flights to Sydney or Brisbane from most of the major airports worldwide, while a car can be hired from one of many car rental services in the city. There are many coastal towns in Coffs with sandy beaches and some comfy restaurants and hotels. You can choose to stop at any one of them but the largest and the most famous of them all is the Woolgoolga, we recommend a tour of this town for another reason as well. It is the closest town to the Dorrigo National Park, the world heritage rainforest and the 60 km long drive from Woolgoolga to the park will provide you with stunning views of the forest and the adjacent landscape.

If you head to Coffs harbour then you can indulge in all kind of water sports, it’s also not bad for just laying around on its bone-white sandy beach. You can surf if you are good enough to handle the tides of the angry sea, or you can take a 20-minute drive to the Nymboida River for a memorable clear water rafting experience. There are a number of clubs in the area that offers rafts and a seasoned guide to raft with you.

Coffs climate is tropical; this makes it not only a great vacation spot in the daytime but also for spending a couple of nights there as well. Most residents of Sydney or Brisbane take a tour to Coffs Coast as one day holiday but if you want to stay for a little longer then there are a number of hotels in Coffs Harbour area and other coastal towns that offer cheap accommodation with decent services. So if you are planning for a vacation in Australia, at least plan one day tour to the magnificent Coffs Coast.
