Las Vegas is the most populous and popular city in the state of Nevada, United States. Also known as the Entertainment Capital of the world and sometimes called the Sin City in different movies. This city is well known for gambling, shopping, drink and dine and some other adult recreational activities. It is a major tourist destination; tourists from almost every part of the world come here to take pleasure in gambling at some of the best casinos in the world offering a variety of entertainments including dance, music and live performances that won’t let you feel bored all night long.
Las Vegas has many attractive locations, used in many films and television programs, Fremont Street is especially known for its illuminating neon Signboards that are on display on every available place on the street, it is the main address of many famous casinos including Golden Nugget, The Mint, Fremont Hotel and Casino, and Binion’s Horseshoe. The large quantity of signboards on this street has earned it a nickname of Glitter Gulch. Many scenes of movies and music videos have been filmed on Fremont Street.
The city is home to some of the best hotels and restaurants offering a variety of cuisines from every part of the world including Chinese, Indian, Italian and Mexican foods, many hotels in the city have there owned casinos. Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard in the Clark County. It is approximately 6.8 kilometres in length and is home to nineteen out of twenty-five of the world’s largest hotels by room count. This strip is not only famous for the hotels but it also worth a visit because of the wonderful architecture, design and modernization of the buildings on the street. Las Vegas Strip is also a good place for doing some quality shopping having numerous shopping places including Bonanza Gift Shop, Grand Canal Shoppes, Miracle Mile, Shoppes at The Palazzo and The Forum Shops at Caesars.
This city has a great transportation network including highways and freeways. McCarran International Airport serves the city and caters for international and domestic flights to Las Vegas; this airport also has daily flights to many destinations worldwide and works as a hub for many international airlines. Two other smaller airports North Las Vegas Airport and Henderson Executive Airport serve for smaller aircraft including mainly domestic and chartered flights.
