London got to witness its brightest moon in 20 years last night, appearing as if a gigantic orb had descended its horizon to spell buildings in a soft, white glare. The Royal Greenwich observatory indicates that the moon would appear the same this 9th September as well. The moon remains this prominent owing to a clear, uncovered sky, plus being the closest in orbit after every 13 or so months. Meteor showers are expected to be visible as well.
