Sarawak has a long list of good places for partying and clubbing Kuching is particularly the best-loved spot of the town. It is a warren of crowded lanes that are speckled with plenty of stores run by the Chinese-dominated community, cafes, hotels, pubs and many other gleaming areas. A lively night scene awaits you after an evening meal in the capital; juts step into any bar, club or pub and you are just in the paradise of ultimate entertainment and endless fun.

99 is a bar with a good music selection and await its beloved guests on Jalan Green Hill. It remains highly vibrant and happening on weekends and gathers a large number of people. The lively watering hole is pretty quiet during the weekdays and is also appreciated for its big screened-television for catching the latest football game. Also visit Cottage that is situated in the Crowne Plaza Riverside hotel and act as the English-style pub. Outlet serves evening meals and rowdy festivities after night time but the actual operations usually begin at about lunchtime. The drinks and cocktails are very much affordable and the outlet features live music six nights a week.
Also don’t miss the chance to hit the beautiful site of Kilkenny’s that was actually named as Tall and tan Ipanema. With a number of refurbishment, it has now completely been transformed in minimal-chic themed spot. The kitchen has a trendy and delicious tapas menu and it’s a nice and classic place for a relaxing drink. The pints here are very much affordable especially during Happy Hour, with Kilkenny Irish beer (obviously) on tap.
Jambu Restaurant and Lounge is another worth-visiting spot of the town that is housed in a colonial-era hot pink bungalow. It is known to be the best boutique bistro that lies in the south of the city centre. This one is the favorite nightspot among locals; for all those who come here to throw back a few designer cocktails and also for those who are well-heeled. Situated on the 22nd floor of the Kuching Civic Centre, there is a classic joint that speaks of stunning 360-degree views of the city and features a delicious snack and drink menu.
Mojo@Denise is another good place to enjoy a dainty drink and it is situated along Jalan Chan Chin Ann, at the back of the Denise Wine Shop. The ambiance is a tad bit juvenile yet completely amusing. Also head towards Rentap Bar, Soho and The Junk (some of the most recommended and notable night-spots of the city).
