The shining Sydney Festival transforms and enlivens the city of Sydney in every January with bold cultural celebration that is based on many bid idea and highest quality art. Highlights of 2013’s Sydney Festival:
The famous venues that will be used this year are two late night “party hubs”, Sydney theatre, Seymour Centre and the popular Opera Houses- the landmark of the country. The Paradiso at Town Hall and the Festival Garden in Hyde Park will be used for dancing, music and DJ’s.
Musical Program:
the major highlights of musical program of 2013 are St.Vincet and the previously announced David Byrne shows at the State Theatre, Spanish surf legends Los Coronas, Sharon Van Etten, Californian cabaret punks Hunx and His Punx, Rokia Traoré will perform 3 distinctive shows and each one of them will celebrate a separate and unique element of Malian music.
Sydney Festival Day One:
The Sydney Festival Day One will serve to be the host of Daptone Super Soul Revue on The Doamin at a free opening night between 8-11pm, on January 5th– with a lineup that will boast Binky Griptite of The Dap-Kings, Budos Band and Sugarman 3, Menahan Street Band, Charles Bradley and the Sharon Jones.
