Ha long Bay is a charismatic natural bewilderment which is located in the northern side of Vietnam along with the Chinese borderline. It is speckled with approximately 1600 limestone islets spreading over an area of 1,500 square kilometres. UNESCO declared this exceptional area as the World’s Heritage Site in 1994, since then this magical place is a great allurement and enticement for the tourists.

The New Seven Wonders Foundation nominated Ha long bay for the list of 7 natural wonders in 2009. Another amazing island is of Dau Be which is a very popular destination as it offers various diving and swimming facilities and is enriched with mysterious caves, coral reefs and also three scenic lakes. You would love to visit Dau Go Island which is very well known for the biggest grotto of the Ha long which is Hang Dau Go ‘Wooden stakes cave’. It comprises three subsequent chambers which contains stalagmites and stalactites in abundance, ranging between the heights of 20-25 metres.
One of the most appealing and engaging site of Ha long is its Floating villages. As the people here earn their livelihood with fishing so they are residing in floating homes since so many years. You can also stay there as they offer very economical rates and buying seafood from the fishing farms will be much enchanting for you. Another striking area of the bay is the Virgin Cave which is highly esteemed and respected as a holy place.
The locals believe that a very pretty woman killed herself inside the cave because she did not want to tie the knot with an old man and her body was converted into a stone statue so then a shrine was built in her memory. Apart from all such inspiring attractions, you can indulge in various other amusing activities like kayaking, sunbathing, swimming, cycling, fishing, snorkelling, sleeping on board, trekking and unwinding at the spas.
