Majorly the park is separated into three portions with the largest area of 40 acres allocated to the National Museum of Filipino People (the department of archaeology and anthropology) and the Department of Tourism (responsible for controlling a smooth and healthy tourism). Besides 22 hectare area extends towards the boulevard followed by an open land of 10 hectares. The park also serves as one of the most astounding picnic resorts for the people on holidays and features an artificial scenic lake that displays a Filipino Relief map, in its centre. Apart from this the park also owns various orchestras, open air auditorium (Concert at the park) and also Manila Planetarium.
