Azerbaijan History Museum
This is the biggest museum in Baku both in terms of size and number of artifacts housed by it. The museum is one of the most proud tourist attractions in Baku with as many as 300.000 historic artifacts placed inside its boundaries. The building itself is a real piece of sophisticated architecture. Ranging from numerous ancient stone, priceless gems, rare metals, Bronze Age crockery and late Stone Age tools, the museum’s most prized possession is a 300-350 thousand years old fossil fragment of a man’s jaw. State Carpet Museum
