Packing is a major part of your travelling and is something which matters all through as your holiday lasts. It is definitely a very good idea to search about the details of things that you would need on your vacation so that you only pack those and travel easy and handy. As you book your cheap air tickets to Portugal, doing a little research on the climate and tourist destinations will reveal a great deal of information to you about your packing needs. Let us guide you about what you might need or might not need in Portugal so that you end up packing only the important stuff leaving behind the extra weight.
For Adults:
As you take your cheap flights from the UK to Portugal, you will enter in a warm climatic zone. The climate is much warmer than UK especially in summers so your packing should match the high temperatures. Pack pair of jeans along with T-shirts which you can swap every day. Keeping three to four T-shirts with you is good enough as you can always wash one night before easily and it will be dry till morning so you can wear it again the next day. Keep shorts with you as you can wear them and they are publically acceptable but avoid revealing clothes as much as you can to get rid of unwanted attention.
Keep a couple of your beach suits and sunglasses as you would need them. Pack your sunscreens and beach hats along too. You will be walking a lot in Portugal so make sure that you keep super comfortable shoes with you. For beaches, you can keep sandals or slippers but joggers or sneakers should be with you at other times. For clubbing, you can always keep your fancy and formal dresses. One or two of them should be enough. Ladies can keep their heels too.
For Children:
The same sort of clothing applies to children too, but you should keep extra clothes for them with you as you travel like an extra T-shirt and pair of shorts. You should also keep mosquito repellents and hand sanitizers. Pack water bottles as walking in sun can get children severely thirsty. You should make sure that you keep water bottles away from sun as plastic water bottle releases dioxin which is not healthy.
A better idea is to keep BPA free water bottles for children as they do not release dioxin in sun. Also keep dry eatables in children bags too like chocolate and biscuits so that when you are away from any eating space, you always have something to give to your hungry little ones. Keeping a little first aid with you is also a good idea like anti-septic creams and bandages so that in case of rashes, you have a remedy.
For Teens:
Travelling in the teen years is beyond ideal. Pack up your smart shorts and jeans along with a few t-shirts. Keep clothes that go with each other in contrast so that you can mix and match them making a new outfit altogether. Pack a couple of fancy dresses and shirts for clubbing. Walking shoes will help you stay comfortable during the day time in Portugal and for nights when you go out to party keep formal shoes and heels accordingly. As you book your cheap airlines to Portugal, consider all these little details as you pack your bag as they will definitely come handy. Only pack things that you need so that you can travel light and easy!
