While everyone does have a choice for pursuing what’s exotic, there is a vibe for some celebrity vacations. Celebrity vacations not just call for star-studded events, all the top hotels and resorts and some private islands or ranches. There’s a lot to expect from following the ones to lead as well. And that’s why all eyes are upon the British prime minister on where he opts to choose for a break from all the work at Downing Street, London. A quick look on observing the trend reveals that David Cameron has a subtle profile when on a private leisure visit with his family. With the number of vacations he has had within this year alone, he seems quite pleased with the idea of getaways from all the metropolitan hustle and bustle of London.
The most recent endeavor has been down south of England, at the small village of Polzeath, Cornwall. The village is completely set to accommodate a regular turnover of domestic tourists, with its flat stretch of plain beach settling in a picturesque day spent in the sun. Much of the locality is kept separate, as the commercial zone is segregated aside along the lone road of the village. The seaside has a narrow bed near the beach, making it all safe for family outings, and minimal calm tides for practising surfing at a beginner level. With scenery of flat hills all around, there’s not much fauna, allowing a clear view from end to end. Although much of it is covered in green, there is a natural reserve to conserve the natural vegetation in the areas.
Portugal also counts among the nearby countries which were chosen by the Prime minister for a personal vacation this summer. Much towards the countryside, Algarve is regarded as one of the nerve centres of tourism which the country provides. Its clear blue waters along the coasts, its rock formations along the beaches, and on the top of it all, its blend of topography; there is a lot to explore.
Towns, new and old, have spawned over periods of time between valleys and hills. The latest development has allowed urban centres which combine resorts, malls and landmarks in specified areas. The ancient town of Lagos has entire castles established as museums and institutions of heritage. When not wandering about, one can always aim for shopping with the extensive variety of markets in the vicinity.
In one regard, the prime minister has remained lucky when it comes to availing an opportunity for a getaway. His very own father-in-law owns an entire estate in Jura, Scotland. Sparsely inhabited, the Isle of Jura completely seems to be a place out of this world. Mountains, lakes, vegetation, streams and valleys, it never fails to suffice for a vacation. It is a popular spot for deer stalking, with the prime minister himself participating in the sport in these areas. Horse riding is the ultimate experience recommended there, with riders being able to trot and gallop effortlessly across smooth green fields and plain meadows.
